Medan: snippets 3

Back in Medan, lounging at the JW Marriott after a rather painful 6 hour journey from Parapat, Lake Toba to Medan, not helped by traffic and a rather irresponsible and chaotic driver who wasn't good at taking orders.

No love lost though, I still have fond memories of Lake Toba, from scaling up to a beautiful waterfall with Samwise to riding pillion with SSM, with Samwise riding behind, moped exploring stone furniture and super heated hotsprings.

Samwise is leaving back to Kuala Lumpur in a few hours while SSM and I have one more night in Medan to unwind. This will be a most interesting story to tell!
